Course description:
This course is designed to teach how to setup and manage a UniData Data Replication (DR) system. Students will also learn how to configure and tune DR. The ability to perform a failover and failback procedure when necessary are also critical skills taught in this course.

• Describe the major components of DR and their use
• Implement DR on both publisher and subscriber systems
• Manage DR on a daily basis
• Execute a failover and failback process when necessary
• Use the tools necessary for troubleshooting and tuning
• Explain how DR interacts with RFS
Who should attend
This course is designed for the UniData Administrators who will be using the Data Replication feature of UniData.

Prerequisites:
Students should have the following skills or completed the following courses:
• U2 UniData Data Administration (UD200) or equivalent experience with UniData
• Basic understanding of the UNIX or Windows operating system
• Ideally have just completed UD225 – U2 UniData Recoverable File System
